Columbia Associates is a sponsor of the week long summer camp: Camp Invention.
Camp Invention is a summer camp that focuses on using children's imaginations and recycled goods to create new things.
This camp is great for kids and parents who want to have fun but learn a little at the same time. The three weeks for 2009 are June 15-19 hosted by Good Shepherd Lutheran, July 6-10 hosted by the University of Missouri, and July 20-24 hosted by Mill Creek Elementary.

Columbia Associates hires its newest team member, Donovan Weber.  Donovan is a recent graduate of Arhitectural Studies department at the University of Missouri - Columbia.  The son of two artists, Donovan has always maintained an interest in fine art.  While growing up in the heart of Kansas City he gained an appreciation for the Urban context. Combining his skill in carpentry and art Donovan chose architecture.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Columbia, MO one of Columbia Associates community projects in '06-'08 has been selected as a notable historic property. The award is to be presented Feb. 5th '08 at the Tiger hotel in downtown Columbia, all are welcome to attend.

Forum Boulevard extension opens up new developments. Columbia Associates Architecture is selected to design “The Colonies Office Park” The development will occupy a prominent area accessed by the newly built Forum Blvd. The architectural style of the development draws inspiration from the south with round columns, porches, hipped roofs and balconies.

St. Louis Missouri Zarfas luggage is expanding to the Galleria. The new store will be opening. Columbia Associates has designed several other stores for Zarfas. Their object is to provide the customer with as much product as possible. Columbia Associates began store planning and layout to maximize all space but give an elegant warm feel upon entering the store.

Columbia Associates provided Zarfas with retail planning, architecture, interior design, fixture design and construction administration.
